NAKED CONFERENCE

conference branding

The fashion industry is harmful to the environment, using hundreds of gallons to create just one shirt along with releasing bad chemicals. Clothing ends up in landfills polluting the earth. I have a strong love for fashion but knowing that it does so much harm saddens me. Thats why I wanted to create a conference dedicated to raising awareness about the industry's environmental and ethical concerns. I used a barcode to emphasize the systemic issues and harmful practices within fast fashion. By scanning in a pair of unzipped jeans, I used it as a layering element to convey the act of revealing the negative aspects behind something that may initially seem pleasing to the eye. The bright colors of the brand catch your eye, like fashion does , but if you look deeper into the designs you see less glamorous things such as plastic which is heavily associated with pollution. The Naked Conference wants to spark emotions that encourage sustainability and thoughtful shopping to take a step toward stopping fast fashion
